Here are three fun and easy ideas for how to draw a robot. All those simple shapes are not bad for beginner artists.

There are many, many dissimilar means to describe a robot, and lots of children's books written near them. In fact, if yous need to pick a project that starts with a story, a robot theme is a skilful place to get-go.

What makes them and so perfect for early elementary students, is their trend to be based on very geometric shapes. A foursquare head, rectangular torso, and one-half circle hands are all familiar shapes and skillful ones to practice when in kinder or first course or and then. They make for a good solid start of a drawing, and are easy to decorate. Y'all can even add in a little body proportion talk if y'all want, as in the arms need to be long enough to bear on the legs, and so on.

That's non to say that older students can't make it on the fun though as well. They can apply their imagination to draw robots with a lot more detail, and perchance give some more thought most how they actually works. A very detailed robot with perhaps a bit of shading in a few corners can make an amazing drawing!

  • Eraser. Large ones you can hold in your hand practise a much better chore than just the pencil tips.
  • Blackness Sharpie Mark. These fine signal permanent marker pens make nice black outlines, have a good tip for coloring, and never drain when they become moisture. Use them with skillful ventilation and add actress paper underneath to protect your tables.
  • Prang Crayons. These are a bit softer than other crayons so they sometimes look similar oil pastels. They also have a some nice brown shades that Crayola does not have unless you purchase their larger boxes.
  • Crayola Crayons. The reliable brand that ever works well. The 24 pack has some of my favorite golden orangish and yellow colors that seem a flake richer and warmer than the ones Prang has.

How to Depict a Robot

  1. Draw a rectangle body.

  2. Add a rectangle head and neck lines.

  3. Draw two matching legs and feet.

  4. Draw two curved arms with hands.

  5. Add details to the caput and neck.

  6. Add lines to the artillery.

  7. Depict details on the body.

  8. Add lines to the legs.

  9. Trace with a mark and color.

How to Pigment a Robot

Metallic tempera paint is one of the nigh inexpensive ways I know to add some bling to your student's art. And what better subject affair than something metallic and fun similar a robot?
